Welcome to Funga Fest 2025 – Israel’s first national celebration of fungi! Whether you’re attending for one day or the full event, here’s what you need to know to make the most of your experience.

December 7–12, 2025
Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva
Main events will be held in The W.A. Minkoff Senate Hall, Building 71A.
🧭 Getting There
By Train:
The nearest station is Beer-Sheva North/University – just a 5-minute walk to the venue.
By Car:
Please note there is no parking inside the university. Paid public parking is available nearby.
By Foot/Bike:
The campus is easily accessible by foot or bicycle from surrounding neighborhoods.

We recommend the U-Tel Guesthouse, located within the BGU Student Village.

Each day of the fest will focus on a unique theme, from science and medical mycology to foraging, fermentation, and fungal culture.
