Abstract submission is now open!
We invite researchers, professionals, and enthusiasts to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations to be featured at Funga Fest Israel 2025, taking place at Ben-Gurion University from December 7–11, 2025.
Topics of interest include (but are not limited to) – fungal ecology and biodiversity, medicinal and edible mushrooms, mycotoxins and fungal pathogens, agricultural and forest mycology, fungi in food tech and fermentation, industrial and environmental applications of fungi, fungal biotechnology, fungi in art, culture, and traditional knowledge, mycoremediation and fungi in climate resilience, symbiotic relationships (e.g., mycorrhiza, endophytes), citizen science and fungal mapping, and emerging fungi-related innovations and startups.
Submission Guidelines:
Abstracts may be submitted for oral or poster presentation (please indicate your preference).
Abstracts must be written in English, up to 300 words, and include: Title , Author(s) ,Affiliation(s) ,Contact email
You may submit more than one abstract for consideration.

Selection Process:
All abstracts will be reviewed by the scientific committee. Accepted abstracts will be notified via email and assigned to either an oral or poster session. Please note that space for oral presentations is limited, and preferences will be considered but not guaranteed.

Presenter Requirements:
At least one author must register for the event in order to present.
Accepted abstracts will be included in the official Abstract Book.
